One of Hawkins' best and a must for someone wanting to understand more fully the Map of Consciousness which Dr. Hawkins develops both in chart form and throughout the book in descriptive prose. I was impressed that so much of my personality/psychology training didn't tap into such depth as he does. Explains why some segments of society struggle and never seem to rise above poverty, while others are gifted in scientific research and mental games, but rarely move beyond that 400 level of consciousness. There is hope as one transcends the 400s into the 500s and 540, Unconditional Love...and above. Landmark research and path finding for today's seeker of true wisdom and knowledge.

Am a fan of Dr. David Hawkins. Reading his books have added to my Spiritual growth and awareness and has changed my life- a manual on humanness. This book is very detailed and extremely helpful in understanding the differences in the various levels of consciousness.His books are very repetitive, but it is intentional on his part as he indicates that repetition is the best way to learn.I have read many of his books and just ordered another one (Letting Go).He is a bit difficult to comprehend, so not for one who is a novice to the spiritual search... but well worth the time and effort to study and understand. His writing is 'life changing.'
